Cambodia and the United States of America have expressed their commitment to reinforce their bilateral relations and cooperation through trade and investment activities, according to the Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC).

The commitment was made during a bilateral meeting in Washington D.C. recently between H.E. SUN Chanthol, Deputy Prime Minister and First Vice President of the CDC, and H.E. Daleep Singh, U.S. Deputy National Security Advisor for International Economics, to discuss and exchange views about investment affairs in Cambodia.

H.E. SUN Chanthol also briefed the American side about fruitful bilateral cooperation between both countries up to this point, and highlighted Cambodia’s investment opportunities and potential by encouraging more American private companies to invest in the Kingdom.

H.E. Daleep Singh highly valued the Royal Government of Cambodia’s endeavours in national economic development so far.

In the same afternoon, H.E. SUN Chanthol also met with Mr. Scott Nathan, CEO
