Phnom Penh: Cambodia registered 413,067 vehicles in 2024, Spokesperson of the Ministry of Public Works and Transport H.E. Phorn Rim said. Of the registered vehicles, 353,603 were motorcycles, 54,692 were family and tourist vehicles, and 5,841 were heavy vehicles.
According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, the figure showed a slight drop in 2024 vehicle registration compared with 2023. Cambodia has developed the National Road Safety 2021-2030 to limit the age of used vehicles imported into Cambodia in a bid to increase road safety while also protecting the environment.
