Cambodia, Philippines Level Up Tourism Cooperation


Johor: Cambodia and the Philippines have discussed the expansion of bilateral tourism cooperation for mutual benefits. Cambodian Minister of Tourism H.E. Huot Hak and Secretary of Philippine Department of Tourism H.E. Maria Esperanza Christina Garcia Frasco met earlier this week in Johor state of Malaysia to speed up the cooperation.



According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, the two officials reviewed the details of a joint memorandum of understanding on bilateral tourism cooperation, which will be formalised soon. They also discussed the establishment of a Cambodia-Philippines joint working group meeting on tourism cooperation and the connection of direct flights to major tourism destinations of the two countries.
