Cambodia, Kyrgyzstan Discuss the Strengthening of Bilateral Ties

H.E. Deputy Prime Minister SOK Chenda Sophea, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, had a bilateral meeting with H.E. Zheenbek Kulubaev, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan at the United Nations Headquarters, New York on Sept. 23, on the occasion of attending the 79th Session of the United Nations General Assembly.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, the two ministers discussed the enhancement of ties under bilateral and multilateral framework particularly in trade, investment, and people to people exchange.

H.E. Zheenbek Kulubaev expressed his intention to welcome Cambodian students in the field of medical science since Kyrgyzstan has expertise and has welcomed students from many countries in the field.

Kyrgyzstan is a country located in the Central Asia region with a population of approximately 7 million and forged diplomatic ties with Cambodia in 1995.
