Cambodia, Germany Discuss Bilateral Development Cooperation


Cambodia and Germany have discussed and exchanged views on bilateral development cooperation, and ways to further promote it to a new height, according to the Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC).

The Cambodian side was headed by H.E. CHHIENG Yanara, Senior Minister in charge of Special Missions and Second Vice-Chairman of the CDC, while the German side was led by Dr. Bärbel Kofler, Parliamentary State Secretary of the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development, during the former’s visit to Hamburg, Germany, on Oct. 8.

This meeting marked a pivotal moment in strengthening a partnership built on mutual trust and shared aspiration for a prosperous future as H.E. Senior Minister highlighted the strategic importance of Cambodia-Germany relations, said the CDC.

While appreciating, commending Germany’s steadfast support in advancing socio-economic development in Cambodia, H.E. CHHIENG Yanara outlined promising projects for the future Cambodia-Germany Negotiation paving the way for closer
collaboration, not to mention mutual growth, in the years to come, concluded the source.
