At least 420,000 users have so far accessed the Cambodia e-Arrival piloted early this year and officially launched at all the country’s international airports on Sept. 1.
The figure was shared yesterday by H.E. Touch Sokhak, Deputy Spokesperson at the Ministry of Interior, adding that some 220,000 users have downloaded the Cambodia e-Arrival application.
The Cambodia e-Arrival system allows visitors to save their time through upfront completion of their immigration information as well as visa applications upon arrival, customs reports, and health declarations.
Travellers can fill up the information seven days before their departure in seven different languages, and the system can be easily accessed through the Cambodia e-Arrival application or website at https://interior.gov.kh/tech_application_suite. (https://interior.gov.kh/tech_application_suite)
The Cambodia e-Arrival is another achievement of the Royal Government in its efforts to attract tourists and investors and strengthen security in the digital
context, said H.E. Touch Sokhak.
He continued that the Ministry of Interior will also introduce the system at international border crossings and other border gates in the near future.
