H.E. Kung Phoak, Secretary of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MFAIC) and ASEAN SOM Leader of Cambodia had a meeting with H.E. Nong Rong, Deputy Head of Hong Kong and Macao Affairs Office of the State Council, on Sept. 9 during his official visit to the People’s Republic of China.
According to the MFAIC, during the meeting, H.E. Kung Phoak and H.E. Nong Rong discussed mutually beneficial Cambodia and China relations as well as ASEAN-China relations. They emphasised the importance of further deepening and broadening bilateral potential areas of concrete and practical cooperation such as digital economy, green economy, green transition and blue economy, and the development of financial, technological and logistical hubs through trade and investment, amongst other things.
Both sides also explored ways as to how to come up with tangible projects for implementation so as to further boost ASEAN-China cooperation, thus contributing to ASEAN Community building effort.

r, on Sept. 8, H.E. Kung Phoak had a productive discussion with H.E. Sun Weidong, Vice Foreign Minister and ASEAN SOM Leader of the People’s Republic of China, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China.
On the occasion, both sides discussed the cooperation under the ASEAN-China Dialogue Partnership, which highlighted potential areas of cooperation and ways forward to enhance the ASEAN-China Comprehensive Strategic Partnership (CSP). They also exchanged views on regional and international issues of common interests and concerns.
