Cambodia and India Discuss Healthcare Cooperation in Phnom Penh


Phnom Penh: Cambodia and India have discussed bilateral health cooperation through healthcare service improvement. The discussion took place in a meeting between H.E. Prof. Chheang Ra, Cambodian Minister of Health, and H.E. Vanlalvawna Bawitlung, Indian Ambassador to Cambodia, in Phnom Penh on Mar. 17.



According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, H.E. Prof. Chheang Ra informed the delegation about the ministry’s priorities, including strengthening of health centre services and referral hospitals through modern medical equipment and medicines, technical training for staff, and digital health promotion. The minister expressed his deep gratitude to the people and government of India for their ongoing support for Cambodia’s health development.



H.E. Vanlalvawna Bawitlung thanked the minister for the appreciation and reaffirmed continued cooperation with the ministry in line with its priorities.
