Phnom Penh: The Cambodian Mine Action Centre (CMAC) and a delegation from the Embassy of the Czech Republic held discussions on the progress of Cambodia’s demining activities.

According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, H.E. Heng Ratana, Director General of CMAC, hosted the meeting with Mr. Jakub Cerny, Deputy Chief of Mission and Head of Economic and Commercial Section of the Embassy of the Czech Republic to Cambodia, along with Mrs. Helena Kotkova, Director of BAIDE to Cambodia, at CMAC headquarters earlier this week.

The talks emphasized the importance of strengthening cooperation between the Government of the Czech Republic and CMAC. Both parties are keen on implementing demining support projects in Cambodia and exploring possibilities in other nations as well.

H.E. Heng Ratana conveyed his appreciation for the ongoing support from the Government of the Czech Republic, highlighting the significance of these collaborative efforts in advancing demining activities in the region.
