She also pointed out that under China’s Belt and Road Initiative, major projects are taking shape, including the Phnom Penh-Sihanoukville Expressway, Siem Reap-Angkor International Airport, and upcoming expressways connecting Phnom Penh to Bavet, as well as Phnom Penh to Siem Reap and Poipet. These projects will play a crucial role in enhancing Cambodia’s national economic connectivity.
H.E. Yin Li expressed his appreciation for the warm welcome in Cambodia, particularly in Siem Reap, a historic and culturally rich province that attracts visitors from around the world. He underlined that the delegation’s visit will further deepen the friendship between the two nations, enhancing diplomatic and political cooperation.
He also affirmed China’s commitment to boosting Cambodia’s economic growth, particularly in Siem Reap, which relies heavily on tourism.
