Jakarta The Indonesian Migrant Workers Protection Agency (BP2MI) stated that it continuously strengthens the Task Force of the Eradication of Syndicates in order to improve the governance of placement and protection of Indonesian migrant workers (PMI).”I hope that despite our limitations, this task force will accelerate the improvement of governance in the placement and protection of Indonesian migrant workers,” BP2MI Head Benny Rhamdani noted in a statement received here on Saturday.
He drew attention to three crimes occurring against Indonesian migrant workers in the form of the public and officials looking down on migrant workers, loan sharks targeting migrant workers, and illegal placement protected by government officials.
“We must carry out breakthroughs and innovations. We must create transformation and leave a legacy in history,” he affirmed.
