Great preparation and participation of ASEAN countries in the 12th ASEAN Para Games is not only the success for the host, but also for the whole ASEAN family.
The note was highlighted by H.E. Yi Veasna, Secretary General of the National Paralympic Committee of Cambodia (NPCC) and Deputy Secretary General of Cambodian ASEAN Para Games Organising Committee (CAMAPGOC) following the 2nd coordination committee meeting of the ASEAN Para Sports Federation (APSF) and CAMAPGOC here in Phnom Penh on Tuesday.
The event will be a good opportunity for Cambodia to showcase Cambodia’s culture, civilisation, peace and development to the world, said H.E. Yi Veasna.
Cambodia is ready to host the SEA Games-ASEAN Para Games 2023, and warmly welcome the ASEAN sports delegates, athletes and international guests.
The warm hospitality to the ASEAN sports delegates, athletes and international guests will encourage them to spread good words about Cambodia and attract more tourists to the country, he added.
Cambodia is hosting the 2nd Coordination Committee Meeting of APSF and CAMAPGOC from Mar. 28 to 30.
A total of 13 kinds of sports and a demonstration sport have been officially approved for the 12th ASEAN Para Games 2023, and to date, over 500 para athletes have been registered for the games.
Cambodia will host the 32nd SEA Games and the 12th ASEAN Para Games from May 5 to 17, 2023 and from June 1 to 10, 2023 respectively, under the motto “Sport: Live in Peace”.
