Cambodian National Assembly delegates took part in a hearing between the general secretariats of the ASEAN Inter-Parliamentary Assembly (AIPA) and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations, held in Vientiane, Lao PDR on Oct. 19.
The Cambodian delegates included H.E. Veng Sakhon, Member of the National Assembly Commission on Planning, Investment, Agriculture, Forestry, Fisheries, Rural Development, Environment, Water Resources and Meteorology, and H.E. San Sarana, Member of the Commission on Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation and Information.
Held on the sidelines of the 45th AIPA General Assembly, the meeting reviewed progress in cooperation between AIPA and ASEAN, said the Cambodian National Assembly in a news release issued this morning.
The hearing was the third since 2022 when Cambodia hosted the 43rd AIPA General Assembly, the source pointed out.
