Tourist destinations in the central coastal city of Da Nang have prepared a kaleidoscope of fascinating activities to attract visitors during the National Day holiday from August 31 to September 3, according to the municipal Department of Tourism. Notable events include the Rong-Rao cultural and art exhibition from August 17 to September 8, a music festival and a drone show on August 24, and free film screenings from August 28 to 30. Meanwhile, a dragon boat race on September 2 is expected to draw huge crowds. The city will also offer visitors diverse culinary and shopping experiences. Da Nang welcomed 2.5 million foreign tourist arrivals during January-July, up 34.7 % year-on-year, equivalent to the target set for the whole year. The number is projected to reach 3.5 million in 2024, equal to the pre-COVID-19 pandemic level.
