Cambodian Acting Head of State, Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, this morning expressed his support to the Kazakhstan-Cambodia direct flight initiative.
The support was emphasised when Samdech Techo Hun Sen received credentials from H.E. Kanat Tumysh, newly appointed Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Cambodia, at the Senate Palace in Phnom Penh.
On the occasion, Samdech Techo Hun Sen extended warm welcome to H.E. Kanat Tumysh’s diplomatic mission in Cambodia and shared his appreciation over the 30-year relationship of both nations.
The Acting Head of State recalled his visit to Kazakhstan in 1982 and congratulated all achievement that Kazakhstani people have so far achieved. He also supported H.E. Kanat Tumysh’s initiatives on direct flight from Kazakhstan to Cambodia, visa exemption for holders of diplomatic and official passports, health cooperation, trade promotion, and so on.
Samdech Techo Hun Sen encouraged the Kazakhstani people to visit and enjoy Cambodia’s beach. He reaffirmed Cambodia’s sup
port to Kazakhstan at the international arena and asked Kazakhstan to support Cambodia’s candidacy to become an official observer of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO).
For his part H.E. Kanat Tumysh highly valued the relationship between Cambodia and Kazakhstan in the past 30 years and briefed Samdech Techo Hun Sen on the current situation in his country.
H.E. Ambassador also expressed his commitment to further promote trade and tourism, especially the direct flight from Kazakhstan to Preah Sihanouk province of Cambodia to boost tourism and cultural exchange of both nations.
H.E. Kanat Tumysh took the opportunity to invite Samdech Techo Hun Sen to pay an official visit to Kazakhstan and share his experience and wise leadership at an international conference to be hosted by Kazakhstan.
