A mall construction project in Village 4, Sangkat 4, Sihanoukville, Preah Sihanouk province has been granted a green light by the Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC).
According to the council’s press release issued on Thursday, invested by DRF-Mart Fa Dao Jia Trading Co., Ltd. with a capital of US$14 million, the project would create 227 job opportunities.
At the same time, CDC also approved five other investment projects worth in total US$31 million in Phnom Penh capital and the provinces of Preah Sihanouk, Kandal, Kampong Speu and Takeo.
The newly-approved projects are expected to generate some 7,000 jobs for the locals. They cover the production of packaging materials, clothes and bags and luggage, and wood processing.
