Phnom Penh: The Royal Thai Embassy in Phnom Penh, in collaboration with the Thai province of Sa Kaeo and the Sa Kaeo Chamber of Commerce, organized on March 16 the “Two Kingdoms Run 2025,” a cross-border friendship run between Cambodia and Thailand to promote friendship and cooperation between the two neighbors.
According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, the event was presided over by H.E. Sorawong Thienthong, Minister of Tourism and Sports of Thailand, H.E. Tull Traisorat, Ambassador of Thailand to Cambodia, H.E. Hun Saroeun, Ambassador of Cambodia to Thailand, H.E. Parinya Phothisat, Governor of Sa Kaeo province, and H.E. Om Reatrey, Governor of Cambodian Banteay Meanchey province. The running event attracted representatives from both the public and private sectors of Cambodia and Thailand.
Runners crossed the Cambodia-Thailand Friendship Bridge, symbolizing the cooperation and close ties between the two nations. This event was held in celebration of the 75th anniversary of the establishment of Cambodia-Thailand diplomatic relations.
The ‘Two Kingdoms Run 2025’ aims to promote health activity and contribute to the strengthening of tourism, trade, and people-to-people relations between Cambodia and Thailand.
