Tokyo: The Royal Embassy of the Kingdom of Cambodia in Japan is set to organize “The 9th Cambodia Festival 2025” at Yoyogi Park, Tokyo, Japan on May 3-4, 2025, aiming to promote Cambodian products and services.
According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, this event is designed to showcase Khmer arts, culture, and tourism, while also promoting potential Cambodian products and cuisine to the international market. The Ministry of Commerce will serve as a facilitator and is inviting Cambodian traders and the public with interest in the event to register with the Department of Exhibition Affairs, General Directorate of Trade Promotion.
Recent figures from the General Department of Customs and Excise of Cambodia indicate that bilateral trade between Cambodia and Japan reached US$2,161 million last year, marking a 20 percent increase compared to the previous year. Of this total, Cambodia’s exports to Japan were valued at US$1,799 million. The main products exported from Cambodia to Japan include garments, bags, footwear, and agricultural products.
