Cambodia and the Philippines are scheduled to convene the Fourth Meeting of the Joint Commission for Bilateral Cooperation in Manila in August this year.
The information was shared during the meeting here on July 10 between H.E. SOK Chenda Sophea, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, and H.E. Ms. Flerida Ann Camille P. Mayo, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of the Philippines to Cambodia.
H.E. Deputy Prime Minister and H.E. Ambassador expressed their satisfaction with significant progress in bilateral relations and cooperation in various areas, including trade, investment, tourism and connectivity, and defence and security.
The Cambodian top diplomat expressed his pleasure for his first official visit to the Republic of the Philippines and co-chairing the Fourth Joint Commission for Bilateral Cooperation (4th JCBC) Meeting to be held in August in Manila to jointly explore ways to take the Cambodia-Philippines’ close ties to even gr
eater heights for the mutual interests.
H.E. Deputy Prime Minister and H.E. Ambassador also reaffirmed their mutual support in regional and international fora.
