Phnom Penh: The National Olympic Committee of Cambodia (NOCC) has launched a campaign to build awareness and promote Olympic values for 2024. The campaign kicked off on Nov. 25 at Bak Touk High School in Phnom Penh, and it will continue to nine other schools in the capital and the provinces of Kep and Kampot, among others.
According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, H.E. Buy Sophoan, Permanent Advisor to NOCC, stated that the 2024 campaign aims primarily at promoting the history and philosophy of the Olympics leading up to the ASEAN Youth Games 2029 that Cambodia will host. The campaign also features sports and solidarity activities that demonstrate Olympic values.
For Phnom Penh, as planned, after Bak Touk High School on Nov. 25 and Russey Keo High School on Nov. 26, the campaign will continue to Wat Dambok Khpos Secondary School on Nov. 27, and Hun Sen Bun Rany High School at Phsar Deum Thkov on Nov. 28.
