Forty-eight (48) athletes, 24 of whom are female, aged from 9 to 13 years old, from 16 Asian countries are expected to join the ATF Asia 14 Junior Championship 2024, to be hosted by Cambodia in Phnom Penh.
The update was shared by Ms. Sum Chenda, the official in charge of the coordination of the event, adding that the ATF Asia 14 Junior Championship 2024 will take place at Morodok Techo National Stadium from Sept. 9 to 13.
The championship will include four contests: Men’s Single, Men’s Double, Women’s Single, and Women’s Double.
This is the second time for Cambodia to host the event, and it will allow the country to showcase the development of its tennis sport sector, she added.
The federation will send one athlete, Mr. Phal Rattanak, to join the event.
