The first World Student Festival and the 8th International Student Science Forum opened in Ho Chi Minh City on August 8, hoping to establish an environment for students in Ho Chi Minh City and international students to exchange and experience diverse cultures from all over the world, at the same time promoting the cultural beauty and development achievements of Ho Chi Minh City to international friends. The event was organised by the Vietnam Union of Students of Ho Chi Minh City and the Vietnam National University in Ho Chi Minh City, taking place until August 4.
