Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, President of the Senate of the Kingdom of Cambodia, has congratulated H.E. Mongkol Surasajja on his recent election as President of the Senate of the Kingdom of Thailand.
‘Your success in obtaining this top position is a testament to your exceptional leadership and dedication to your nation and people,’ he underlined in his congratulatory messaged dated July 29.
The Kingdom of Cambodia and the Kingdom of Thailand have close relations and cooperation characterised by mutual respect, trust, and a commitment to promoting peace and prosperity in the two nations and the region, particularly the ASEAN Community, he said.
‘As neighbouring countries, we have collaborated on various issues of common interest, and I firmly believe that in your new role as President of the Senate, you will further strengthen the ties between our two nations,’ the Cambodian senate president added.
‘I look forward to working with you and the Senate of Thailand to further forge the partnersh
ip and enhance the cooperation between our two Senates,’ he said. ‘I am confident that your tenure as President of the Senate will bring about new opportunities for cooperation and mutual benefits for our two nations and peoples.’
