Cambodian Acting Head of State Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen received here at the Senate Palace here this morning visiting President and CEO of Asia Foundation Ms. Laurel E. Miller.
In the courtesy meeting, Samdech Techo Hun Sen expressed his satisfaction with the outcome of partnership between Cambodia and the Asia Foundation since 1993, and reaffirmed his continued support to the Asia Foundation activities in Cambodia. He also congratulated the latter on its 70th founding anniversary.
At the same time, Samdech Techo Hun Sen briefed his guest on Cambodia’s peace-seeking, reconstruction and development process, including the Win-Win policy, the Royal Government’s Triangle Strategy, then Rectangular Strategy, and current Pentagonal Strategy for the country’s development.
For her part, Ms. Laurel E. Miller recalled the cooperation between Cambodia and the Asia Foundation in the areas of education, economy and so on.
For Cambodia, she said, the mission of the Asia Foundation is to support t
he priority areas set by the Royal Government, which are the aspirations of the country and the people.
Ms. Laurel E. Miller also expressed her appreciation for Samdech Techo Hun Sen’s leadership and his humanitarian activities.
